Hello, Highland families.
It is time for spring mileage club! This is a great volunteer opportunity to get outside and enjoy the fresh air while encouraging our kids to meet their goals. Parent volunteers help students track their miles by marking cards as they lap and share in their excitement of earning prizes.
1st shift: 11:25 am to 12:15 pm
2nd shift: 12:15 pm to 1:05pm
*If you want to coordinate a volunteer slot with your student's recess time, here is the schedule:
KG, Gross, Fetrow - recess 12:37 and lunch 12:15
Reisinger and Eriksson -recess 12:00 and lunch 12:22
Greene and Cross - recess 12:15 and lunch 12:37
Therrian and Howard - recess 11:30 and lunch 11:52
4/5 classes - recess 12:07 and lunch 11:45
*Younger siblings are welcome to join and run laps along with the older kids (they can even get a mileage club card!) or play on the playground.
**This is a weather dependent activity. If you think mileage club may be canceled due to inclement weather but you have not been contacted, please call the office at (541) 355-1900.
